In 1987 Paul Comi invited Chris Julias to join Caffe D'Amore, a coffee company who has a roaster room at the corner of Walnut and Sierra Bonita, which is the Official Coffee of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses.

Jualias was born to John Chris and Ismene Julias in Los Angeles, his parents though him "If you can afford to give back to the community you shoul do" and he did, he was an exceptional individual and supporter of our community through donations to philanthropic events and programs. Member of AHEPA, Pasadena Chapter. A heart Trojan, member of the Cardinal & Golf of USC and big fan of USC football and basketball games, almost never missed a game, among other hobbies include listening to the songs of Frank Sinatra.
In 1987 purchased Caffe D'amore and became partner with his friend Paul Comi, where he was a successful businessman, family oriented and loved man, with a great sense of humor he enjoyed sharing his experience and wisdom with employees, friends and customers.
His wife Kathy survive him along with two children,Christine, John and two grandchildren.
A Trisagion Service will be held at 7:00 pm. Tuesday, January 25, 2011 and the Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 10:30am, both at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1324 So. Normandie Avenue, Los Angeles, Ca.
