The United Nations forecasts diluted radiation levels to hit Southern California with minor health effects, if any.  However, in listening to the radio this morning, (and if I heard correctly), as a precautionary measure, it was advised to not drink milk for the next 10 days.  So if there are any dairy drinkers out there reading this, you might want to stock up on milk before tomorrow afternoon.

Aftershocks continue to rock Japan after a massive 8.9 quake hit at 2:46 local time, sending widespread tsunami warnings from New Zealand to California.  Within 4 hours, Honshu, Japan has been hit by aftershocks measuring 6.8 and 7.1
